Job Description

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to empowering and inspiring young people in the Fox Valley region. The organization focuses on providing a supportive environment filled with positive role models, opportunities for growth, and a safe place where youth can thrive regardless of their socio-economic background. With a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those with unmet needs, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley aims to help each child reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring members of the community. The organization emphasizes creating supportive relationships with caring adults, fostering a sense of belonging, offering meaningful opportunities, and providing fun experiences to build confidence and life skills in youth. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, the Club ensures that every kid has equal access to resources and experiences that promote development and success.

The role of Marketing & Design Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is a full-time position based in Appleton at 160 S. Badger Ave. This opportunity is ideal for a creative, driven professional who wants to make a meaningful impact on the community by promoting the organization's values and programs through engaging marketing strategies and effective design work. As a Marketing & Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for crafting compelling digital content tailored to various audiences across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the Club's website. Your role will involve maintaining and updating the website to ensure it remains functional and visually appealing while supporting awareness and engagement.

You will also design a wide variety of marketing and branding materials that highlight Youth Development and Youth & Family Services programs. This includes creating social and web graphics, overseeing photography needs, and producing high-quality videos that communicate the Club’s mission and impact successfully. Consistency in brand presentation is crucial, so you will ensure all materials align with the Club's branding standards. Collaboration is a key component of the role as you will work closely with other teams to draft content and bring comprehensive marketing plans to life through innovative design. Fundraising campaigns and events are also part of your remit, requiring you to develop donor materials, reports, newsletters, and provide design support for third-party events. The position offers a competitive starting pay range of $19.75 to $25.50 per hour depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and flexible paid leave programs. Additionally, after onboarding, there is potential for a hybrid work schedule with the possibility of one remote day per week, supporting a positive work-life balance.
