Job Requirements
- Physically able to stand walk lift up to 25 lbs and perform required tasks
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include mornings days evenings weekends and ability to work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Prior hospitality customer service or barista experience preferred
- Ability to learn all menu items and up-selling techniques
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a register
- Outgoing pleasant personality and ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions and communicate with guests
- Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized able to multitask prioritize effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Understand full menu including ingredients preparation and service standards
- Consistently prepare quality beverages and dishes to standard
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area performing cleaning as assigned
- Operate POS system accurately while multitasking and completing side work
- Comply with accounting guidelines for processing payments and completing closing tasks at end of shift
- Follow merchandising stocking rotation and storage standards
- Handle guest orders from start to finish resolving complaints professionally
- Assist in other areas of the marketplace as business levels demand
- Other duties as assigned
