Job Duties

  • Process guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures
  • promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management and report any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management
  • comply with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greeting
  • be knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests
  • impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
  • take guest orders promptly
  • promptly prepare beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures
  • deliver beverages/food to guests
  • report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • clean equipment and areas
  • restock service items
  • attend department meetings as scheduled
  • perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
