Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of freight billing and international shipping documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Capability to work flexible hours when required
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working in office and warehouse environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic coordination logistics or freight booking TL LTL
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of freight billing international shipping processes and warehouse operations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours based on shipping needs

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule up to 20 daily truckload shipments optimizing for cost and efficiency
  • Book and arrange domestic and international freight including LTL FTL FedEx UPS DHL
  • Ensure timely creation of all shipping documents such as bills of lading packing slips special instructions
  • Maintain and track inventory of manufacturing consumables like pallets stretch wrap
  • Monitor and update shipping logs daily using Microsoft Teams
  • Manage communication with customers and carriers for collect and customer-arranged shipments
  • Handle intercompany billing and approve freight invoices for payment
  • Track shipments and maintain shipment visibility through internal tracking systems
  • Coordinate shipments and transfers with up to 5 outside warehouses
  • Evaluate carrier performance and recommend improvements
