Kroger is the nation’s largest grocery retailer, originating from a small Cincinnati grocery store over a century ago. With nearly 2,800 stores across 35 states operating under 28 different names, Kroger has established itself as a leading company committed to feeding the human spirit through diverse teams driven by passion for food and people. This dynamic organization values innovation and strives to create exceptional experiences for customers, communities, and associates alike. The culture at Kroger emphasizes respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety, making it a workplace where people truly matter and have the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

The role being offered within Kroger Manufacturing is pivotal to maintaining and improving the plant’s performance, especially in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and customer-first strategies. This position involves performing a variety of tasks throughout the manufacturing facility safely, effectively, and accurately, following established procedures and processes. Candidates will be expected to provide leadership that embodies Kroger’s 7 Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles to ensure operational excellence. Key responsibilities include cleaning equipment and facilities, operating cleaning systems, handling packaging supplies, and assisting machine operators. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are critical in producing safe, high-quality food products.

Associates in this role will benefit from comprehensive support for their overall well-being, with access to a wide range of healthcare coverage plans including medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits, as well as flexible scheduling options. Kroger offers paid time off, inclusive of holiday and sick pay based on eligibility and length of service, along with emotional and financial support through Employee Assistance Programs and financial coaching partnerships. Additionally, associates enjoy valuable discounts and have opportunities for continuing education with tuition reimbursement up to $21,000, plus access to specialized training programs and career pathways that foster professional growth. Kroger’s commitment to associate development is reflected in its dedication to providing a positive, rewarding work environment where every individual’s potential is recognized and nurtured.

If you are self-motivated, organized, and eager to work in a purpose-driven environment with room for growth, this opportunity with Kroger Manufacturing offers a platform to contribute meaningfully while advancing your career in one of America’s most respected companies.
