Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least six years of relevant experience required
  • CPA certification required (Juris Doctor or other advanced degree may be acceptable in lieu of CPA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and judgment abilities
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • Sense of urgency and results orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • At least six years of relevant experience
  • CPA certification required (Juris Doctor or other advanced degree may be acceptable in lieu of CPA)
  • Master of Business Administration preferred in business administration, management, economics, finance, supply chain management, or data processing/analytics/science
  • Licensed Customs Broker certification preferred
  • Understanding of US Customs and Border Protection procedures preferred

Job Duties

  • Review and advise on planning, documentation and controversy issues associated with all types of intercompany transactions
  • Monitoring impacts to businesses in ever-changing regulatory environments
  • Review tax and other compliance filings
  • Planning and modeling of U.S. and other country taxes
  • Develop high functioning teams and incorporating AI and other technology
  • Drive strategic planning for tax which may include transfer pricing and tariff strategies
  • Train associate and senior associates on the team
  • Participate in local office and firm wide business development opportunities
