Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience desired
- Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug and/or alcohol tests
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- EFW will not sponsor employment authorization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Regular attendance required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in warehousing or transportation industry preferred
- 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized
- Strong financial management skills
- Experience managing external service providers such as cartage, truckload, and linehaul
- In-depth knowledge of products and services
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated team leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and business documents
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and business correspondence
- Ability to present to groups across the organization
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Job Duties
- Accountable for maintaining profitable and cost-efficient operations
- Guide and support all sales efforts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Lead, direct, and manage site operations to ensure maximum profitability and superior customer service
- Assist the team with moving freight, stock, or other materials using equipment when authorized
- Manage location and company resources to facilitate quality and efficient operations
- Establish and maintain positive, productive customer relations and manage daily resolution of issues
- Continuously improve processes to ensure excellent customer relations
- Review and evaluate location P&L performance and adjust goals to maintain profitability
- Ensure freight is expedited safely and timely
- Provide a safe and professional warehouse environment
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Supervise 6-10 employees including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline
