Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience preferred
  • 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience desired
  • Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug and/or alcohol tests
  • Must be subject to a criminal history background check
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • EFW will not sponsor employment authorization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Regular attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in warehousing or transportation industry preferred
  • 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Experience managing external service providers such as cartage, truckload, and linehaul
  • In-depth knowledge of products and services
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and business documents
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to present to groups across the organization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Accountable for maintaining profitable and cost-efficient operations
  • Guide and support all sales efforts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Lead, direct, and manage site operations to ensure maximum profitability and superior customer service
  • Assist the team with moving freight, stock, or other materials using equipment when authorized
  • Manage location and company resources to facilitate quality and efficient operations
  • Establish and maintain positive, productive customer relations and manage daily resolution of issues
  • Continuously improve processes to ensure excellent customer relations
  • Review and evaluate location P&L performance and adjust goals to maintain profitability
  • Ensure freight is expedited safely and timely
  • Provide a safe and professional warehouse environment
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Supervise 6-10 employees including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline
