Our company is a well-established food service provider dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences in Roseville, CA. We specialize in managing high-volume food service operations that cater to diverse clientele on campus and within the local community. The Manager Trainee role is designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on experience by rotating through various operational functions. Candidates accepted into this role will be immersed in managing day-to-day activities, overseeing kitchen, server, and retail stations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and brand integrity. You will lead by example, conduct shift huddles, and contribute toward fostering a productive team environment. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while prioritizing both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the Manager Trainee will be responsible for monitoring sales, labor, and food costs as part of operational oversight. You will assist with inventory planning and ordering, collaborate with on-campus marketing initiatives, and build community partnerships to elevate the guest experience. Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar guest-service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and deliver excellent service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures for kitchen, server, and retail stations
- Maintain food safety standards and brand integrity by conducting line checks and completing HACCP documentation
- Lead shift huddles and provide real-time feedback to promote a positive team environment and drive productivity
- Monitor sales, labor, and food costs
