Established initially as Hustle Smoothie Bar in Mount Pleasant in 2018, The Bomb Bar has grown into a leader in whole food, meal replacement smoothies tailored to meet the individual tastes and dietary goals of each guest. Beyond smoothies, the establishment also offers an array of coffee selections, plant-forward healthy eats, grab-and-go snacks, and various toast options. The Bomb Bar is actively seeking an energetic and capable Manager to lead its growing team in the lively and dynamic environment of smoothie creation. This role is pivotal in maintaining and elevating the culture and operations of the store. The Manager will be responsible for fostering a highly productive and motivated team that delivers an extraordinary guest experience aligned with the company's core values of going the extra mile, positivity, growth motivation, personal integrity, and genuine southern hospitality. The Manager will oversee critical aspects of store operations including hiring, reviewing, rewarding, and, when necessary, terminating staff, all while using operational tools such as profit and loss statements, cash and deposit logs, scheduling software, and inventory management systems to ensure operational excellence. Maintaining supplier relationships and managing the store’s appearance and cleanliness are also key components of this role, alongside vigilant adherence to food safety guidelines and brand standards. The Manager will regularly analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring continuous improvement. Additionally, the role includes driving the implementation of company programs and developing local store marketing plans that support broader brand initiatives, further enhancing community outreach through marketing and special events.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledgeable of general POS functionality
  • Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes
  • ServSafe Certification

Job Duties

  • Provide an exceptional guest experience throughout each visit
  • Enthusiastically hire, fire, review, reward and recognize based on core values
  • Use operational tools such as profit and loss statements, cash and deposit logs, scheduling, and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Review store environment and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store
  • Own and promote brand standards in alignment with the Bomb Bar vision and core values
  • Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with brand standards
  • Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring the team to meet operational standards
  • Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including community outreach through marketing and special events
