Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum three years management administrative experience emphasizing employee relations and talent management
  • Minimum three years managing retail operations
  • Experience with full scope of human resources activities
  • Passionate about staffing, compliance, inventory control, and theft prevention
  • Demonstrated leadership in high growth environments preferred
  • Operations management experience including production oversight
  • Excellent consulting, conflict management, and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid business reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional listening, coaching, and training abilities
  • Strong project and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Assist general manager in overseeing dispensary operations
  • Ensure compliance with medical cannabis pilot program regulations
  • Supervise dispensary staff training and education in manager's absence
  • Manage patient identification, registration, and record retention
  • Monitor point of sale transactions and inventory control
  • Utilize BioTrackTHC software for accurate product tracking
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts
  • Develop privacy policies and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Act as liaison to law enforcement, health commissioners, and community
  • Direct department managers to meet compliance and safety goals
  • Implement quality assurance programs and error prevention plans
  • Manage retesting, storage, disposal, and recall of medical marijuana products
  • Assist with security systems for tracking and surveillance
  • Foster an employee-oriented culture emphasizing quality and teamwork
  • Implement HR policies and compliance efforts
  • Update job descriptions and conduct employee relations investigations
  • Lead exit interviews and analyze data for improvement
  • Develop organizational and employee training programs
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor employee productivity
