Job Requirements

- valid driver’s license
- ServSafe Manager certification within 90 days
- ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- ability to stand for long periods and work in high heat
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or four or more years’ experience managing a restaurant or foodservice operation and team
- strong computer skills including advanced use of Google Suite applications
- excellent critical thinking, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills
- ability to connect empathetically with food-insecure and vulnerable populations
- highly motivated and energetic with outgoing personality
- ability to follow detailed instructions and execute daily program needs
- valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal transportation
- ServSafe Manager certification required within 90 days of hire
- ability to stand and work in high-heat environments for extended periods
Job Duties
- Manage the daily execution of the meal service at Trinity Café
- support the culinary team in receiving the daily meal, preparing for meal service, and cleaning up
- ensure food safety guidelines are followed
- support the café associates to maintain facility cleanliness and policy adherence
- support onsite security staff to ensure safety for all
- follow incident reporting policies and submit reports within required timeframes
- work with volunteer team to identify and recruit volunteers
- assist with volunteer scheduling and training
- lead volunteer orientations
- manage partner relations and community resource information
- collect and report program data
- maintain inventory and order supplies
- report facility maintenance needs
- manage onsite costs and expense reporting
- support a team-based environment
- maintain cleanliness of entire facility
- participate in staff meetings
- cross-train on all food programs
- demonstrate professionalism and commitment to organizational mission
- participate in mission-driven programs as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
