Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five years of logistics experience
  • proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint
  • ability to work with minimal supervision

  • familiarity with export logistics

Job Duties

  • Create bookings and dispatches as needed
  • create, develop and maintain special logistics projects assigned by upper management
  • troubleshoot and choose alternative carriers as circumstances require based on customer and/or IFG scheduling requirements
  • manage export logistics activities via communications with sales, operations and outside vendors
  • drive problem resolution through bookings issues, calendar rate inquiries and market manager general requests for information
  • delegate additional daily tasks to subordinates
  • drive continuous improvement through employee training, process review, and carrier selection for logistics activities related to IFG Jacksonville
  • create and maintain reporting tools required by upper management to monitor individual SBOs and CMPS
  • oversee and support positions and personnel reporting to this position including employee evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • perform other duties as assigned
