Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum four years 14 CFR 121 airline operations control center experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum four years 14 CFR 121 airline operations control center experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate (preferred)
  • Minimum one year OCC Duty Manager or Shift Supervisor experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Comfortable making key decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations, disruption recovery, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide tactical operational oversight to achieve safety, on time performance, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Examine and recommend process improvements to boost quality and efficiency
  • Create, communicate, and execute plans to prevent disruptions
  • Monitor short-term schedule and verify efficient aircraft routing
  • Develop and implement alternate plans during abnormal operations and delays
  • Maintain knowledge of crewmember status for current and future operations
  • Support dispatch activities during workload imbalances and emergencies
  • Communicate operational irregularities and recovery plans to relevant departments
  • Monitor daily performance and facilitate briefings for leadership
  • Act as liaison to leadership regarding day-to-day operations
