Job Requirements
- Must represent Cooper's Hawk values
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have management or relevant hospitality experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of operations in various restaurant areas
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for at least 10 hours per shift
- Ability to work 50-60 hours per week

- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a New Restaurant Opening Trainer, Lead Restaurant Trainer, or management role within Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants or similar restaurant concept
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional team member experiences
- Knowledge of operations in tasting room, front of house, and kitchen
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills to motivate and engage team members
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency handling
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform essential functions of the role with reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Develop staffing plans for each quarter and provide insight into potential shortfalls
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure Team Member sourcing strategies including ads, hiring fairs, referral bonuses
- Maintain applicant tracking system and hiring inboxes daily
- Post open shifts and positions internally for Team Members to apply or request
- Work closely with lead trainers to ensure understanding and execution of standards and training programs
- Identify training needs and develop retraining plans as required
- Manage inventory and ordering of training materials and uniforms
- Administer training qualifications and conduct 30, 60, 90 day trainee check-ins
- Communicate training feedback to lead trainers and department managers
- Participate in orientation for hourly Team Members
- Ensure positive and organized onboarding and offboarding processes
- Timely process hires, transfers, and terminations
- Collect feedback from departing Team Members
- Promote culture of celebration for tenure, anniversaries, birthdays, life events, and holidays
- Oversee charity events involving Team Members
- Manage employee engagement initiatives including monthly informational boards, team lunches, focus groups, and surveys
- Review engagement feedback and coordinate with management for retention plans
- Conduct stay interviews and analyze trends to enhance engagement
- Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives
- Oversee talent management programs and cross training
- Track employee tenure and help identify development opportunities
- Partner with managers to identify candidates for leadership training
- Attend front-of-house, kitchen, and manager community meetings
- Observe new Team Members on shift and coordinate additional training if needed
- Interact with team and guests to gauge satisfaction
- Provide guidance on payroll functions and benefits for Team Members
- Maintain updated employee records and certification statuses
- Track benefit utilization and support Team Members in leveraging benefits
- Communicate and promote benefits open enrollment
- Coordinate leave-of-absence and return-to-work processes
- Ensure team adherence to handbook, break compliance, and position maintenance in systems
- Maintain professional image per company guidelines
