Job Description
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) oversees the operations of Dickies Arena, a premier multipurpose venue located in Fort Worth, Texas. This 14,000-seat arena is situated adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus and is owned by the City of Fort Worth. As a modern facility, Dickies Arena hosts a wide variety of events including concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and it is the new home for the Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances. TDMC, the not-for-profit entity managing the venue, focuses on delivering exceptional experiences to guests through its state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive event management. The arena's combination of top-tier amenities and rich local heritage provides an exciting atmosphere for both entertainment and professional engagements.
The role of Manager of Restaurants and Clubs at Dickies Arena is a full-time leadership position responsible for managing multiple dining and beverage venues within the arena. These include a full-service fine dining club/restaurant, a full-service premium club/restaurant bar, two high-traffic club bars, and two premium concessions style food stands. The Manager will lead a team of full-time club operators and oversee the staffing, training, menu development, payroll, budgeting, ordering, and event planning related to food and beverage services. The role requires close collaboration with the Director of Premium Operations and culinary staff to ensure food and beverage selections meet high standards and are appropriate for the event's guest demographic. This involves ensuring excellent hospitality is provided consistently to premium seat owners, ticketholders, and all venue guests.
The Manager of Restaurants and Clubs will enforce safety and sanitation standards, including responsible alcoholic beverage service. They will establish and maintain departmental and venue policies, develop event-based service standards, and partner with marketing and sponsorship teams to support promotions that enhance guest experiences. Financial management responsibilities include monitoring sales, labor costs, inventory, and payroll to meet budget goals. The position demands engagement with guests for feedback and hospitality assurance as well as mentoring supervisors and team members to maintain a professional and high-functioning team.
With a heavy emphasis on operational efficiency, customer service excellence, and financial accountability, this role impacts the overall reputation of Dickies Arena's premium hospitality sector. Candidates should have significant experience in food and beverage management, preferably in sports or entertainment venues with multi-restaurant service types. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and technology skills are essential, as well as flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires physical stamina to be on feet throughout events and the ability to handle fluctuating environment conditions typical of an arena setting.
