Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations, production, logistics, or food manufacturing
- 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including FDA and HACCP
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations, production, logistics, or food manufacturing
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferably in a high-volume, regulated industry
- Experience working in airline catering, food production, or hospitality operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, meeting performance targets, and driving continuous improvement
- Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
Job Duties
- Strategically plan and organize departmental operations including labor hours, shift schedules, productivity, quality, and safety
- Ensure on-time and accurate production of food, equipment, and catering for flights
- Monitor and maintain appropriate par levels of customer inventory and customer-specific goods
- Attend daily operations briefings to ensure alignment across functions and shifts
- Initiate and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes
- Manage departmental costs within budget through effective manpower planning, scheduling, and overtime control
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations including FDA, HACCP, environmental, health, and safety guidelines
