Job Description

Disney Experiences is a premier entertainment and hospitality company renowned worldwide for creating magical experiences that inspire and delight guests of all ages. As a leader in family-friendly destinations, Disney Experiences offers immersive resorts, theme parks, and engaging entertainment that blends exceptional customer service with unique storytelling. One of the crown jewels of Disney Experiences is Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, located in the beautiful Kapolei, Hawaii. Aulani seamlessly combines the spirit of O'ahu island culture with the enchantment of Disney, crafting a welcoming and magical environment for guests and cast members alike. This resort stands out not only as a top tourist attraction but also as a workplace committed to fostering creativity, diversity, and growth among its employees. The company prides itself on its deep connection to the local community and the opportunity it provides to formally and informally educate and develop its team in ways that respect cultural heritage while embracing world-class hospitality standards.

The role of Manager of Learning & Talent at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, is a pivotal position committed to driving strategic leadership in learning and development within the resort. This full-time, salaried role is located onsite in Kapolei and reports directly to the Human Resources Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive learning programs including onboarding, leadership development, service excellence training, and ongoing skills enhancement initiatives. Threaded throughout these responsibilities is a commitment to creating impactful learning experiences that translate into improved resort-wide performance and guest satisfaction. This position not only requires strong project management and strategic advisory skills but also a passion for people development and team leadership. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including Operations Training, Safety, Disney University, Workforce Management, and Line of Business leaders to ensure seamless and consistent delivery of training experiences.

Beyond program leadership, the Manager will play a vital role in financial management by overseeing departmental budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Continuous evaluation and adaptation of learning strategies based on data-driven insights, industry trends, and guest service standards are essential components of this role. By cultivating trusted relationships across the resort and contributing to the evolution of a comprehensive service auditing program, the Manager of Learning & Talent will influence both the culture and operational excellence at Aulani. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment and who embraces Disney's core philosophy of creating happiness through exemplary learning and development practices. The salary range for this position in Hawaii is $126,800 to $154,800 per year, with potential bonuses and additional incentives, reflecting Disney’s investment in exceptional talent.
