- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties
- Serve as the client's main point of contact for all assigned facility events
- collaborate with clients regarding event needs and requests including food and beverage, designated spaces and functions, vendor services, affiliates and exhibitors, and billing
- develop and distribute internal documents such as staffing, cost estimates, event work orders, information sheets, and post-event reports
- develop meeting agendas for clients or vendors
- research, review, and recommend equipment, materials, and supplies for event services
- coordinate outside service needs with contractors, decorators, and vendors
- coordinate with marketing department regarding front-of-house marketing and social media initiatives
- coordinate and participate in facility inspections to ensure compliance and readiness
- supervise staffing for assigned events
- assist with special front-of-house arrangements such as opening of house, late seating, and aisle clearing
- make immediate decisions in emergency situations with facility representatives
- prepare reports, correspondence, and analyses related to post-event discussions
- develop institutional knowledge of facilities and ASM policies related to event activations
- monitor and execute external communications including website inquiries, customer emails, main phone line calls, and voicemail
- assist New Orleans downtown campus team with social media accounts to ensure timely messaging
- organize and maintain the facility photography database
- follow all ASM Global training, policies, and procedures
- assist in preparation of departmental budget and revenue estimates
- maintain a positive public image and client relationships
- manage and complete event or facility-related projects assigned
- perform other duties as assigned
