Job Requirements

  • 4-year degree/bachelor's degree
  • minimum three years of previous experience in event management
  • detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent tasks within established deadlines
  • excellent problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills
  • computer proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • ability to work with diverse internal and external constituents
  • availability to work extended evening and weekend hours

  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
  • availability to work extended evening and weekend hours
  • knowledge of Altru or Prism is a plus
  • familiarity with museum environment is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage logistics of all development events including major annual fundraisers
  • coordinate with frontline fundraising and multiple internal departments
  • oversee vendor relations including catering and audiovisual services
  • manage scheduling and timeline of concurrent events
  • ensure compliance with museum policies and procedures
  • handle budget tracking and resource allocation
  • foster communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
