Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in aviation, preferably in crew planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel
- Ability to be analytical in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in aviation, preferably in crew planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel
- Ability to be analytical in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- Experience with CrewTrac
- Experience with PBS software (IBS or NavBlue)
- Experience with Optimization software
Job Duties
- Responsible for modeling/projecting crew headcount requirements based on the airline's flight schedule including training and attrition modeling
- Works closely with schedule analysis and provides feedback into the schedule planning to ensure efficient flight scheduling
- Reports on changes to regulatory/company work rules and the effect on required head count
- Builds crew pairings monthly that comply with the Federal Aviation Regulations, CBA, and company work rules used in the monthly pairing process
- Manages time effectively to meet deadlines for multiple projects
- Responsible for monthly bidding (either line building and/or PBS) and month end resolution
- Interacts with other corporate departments when working on monthly schedules
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company
- Responsible for the company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
