Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in aviation, preferably in crew planning
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel
  • Ability to be analytical in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in aviation, preferably in crew planning
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel
  • Ability to be analytical in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English
  • Experience with CrewTrac
  • Experience with PBS software (IBS or NavBlue)
  • Experience with Optimization software

Job Duties

  • Responsible for modeling/projecting crew headcount requirements based on the airline's flight schedule including training and attrition modeling
  • Works closely with schedule analysis and provides feedback into the schedule planning to ensure efficient flight scheduling
  • Reports on changes to regulatory/company work rules and the effect on required head count
  • Builds crew pairings monthly that comply with the Federal Aviation Regulations, CBA, and company work rules used in the monthly pairing process
  • Manages time effectively to meet deadlines for multiple projects
  • Responsible for monthly bidding (either line building and/or PBS) and month end resolution
  • Interacts with other corporate departments when working on monthly schedules
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company
  • Responsible for the company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
