The collaboration aims to leverage Legends' expertise to engage fans, donors, local and national brands, and businesses through integrated sponsorships, ticketing, and hospitality packages.\n\nThe role of Manager, NIL Activation, within the Legends Global Partnership Sales and Activation team at the University of Miami, is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of sports marketing and name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal execution. This role is integral to the support and management of NIL operations, serving as a key liaison between brand partners, student-athletes, and internal teams. The Manager will maintain NIL account management, coordinate deliverables, track inventory, and provide proof of performance reporting to ensure the seamless activation of NIL partnerships. This role demands exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment at the Coral Gables, FL campus. The candidate will report to the VP of Partnership Activation and collaborate closely with athletic staff.\n\nThis full-time, on-site position offers competitive pay tailored to experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. The role entails working 40 hours a week, including home games, select events, and NIL activation activities which may occur outside traditional business hours. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-driven, solution-focused, and adept in communication — essential qualities for fostering strong, confidential relationships with student-athletes, university partners, and other stakeholders. Staying abreast of evolving national NIL legislation and trends is also critical for success in this role.
Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience in NIL sports marketing sponsorship activation college athletics or related fields
- bachelor’s degree
- excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- experience managing or executing NIL campaigns in a collegiate or agency setting
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word PowerPoint and Excel
- ability to work 40 hours per week including home games select events and NIL activations outside traditional business hours

Job Duties
- act as primary contact for NIL accounts serving as liaison between brand partners student-athletes property teams and athletic department staff
- lead planning execution and follow up of NIL deal activations ensuring fulfillment compliance and a positive experience
- assist in coordinating logistics for NIL content production including scheduling with brand partners and student-athletes
- provide on-site production support for NIL content shoots as needed ensuring successful delivery of brand partner obligations
- manage NIL inventory across multiple accounts providing regular updates on assets to internal teams
- apply judgement in known situations escalating complex issues or risks to appropriate leader
- build and maintain strong working relationships and confidentiality with student-athletes university partners athletic department and staff
- stay current on national NIL legislation trends and peer activity
- work 40 hours per week including home games select events and NIL activations outside traditional business hours
- manage reporting and proof of performance of NIL deliverables
