Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or retail operations preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily coffee shop operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and product quality
  • Monitor and maintain food and beverage standards, presentation, and consistency
  • Manage inventory, establish par levels, and approve purchasing of supplies and equipment
  • Control expenses and operate within approved budget guidelines
  • Support team members during service to ensure efficient and seamless operations
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are maintained in proper working condition
  • Maintain compliance with applicable coffee shop brand standards, company, and health department standards
  • Prepare accurate reports and track performance metrics
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop associates to build a high-performing team
  • Create schedules and manage daily workflow to meet operational needs
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support associate development
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to communicate goals and expectations
  • Promote a positive work environment through recognition and team engagement
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cash handling, and operational procedures
