The role of Manager within the Global Content Operations team focuses on producing and managing live events for Samsung TV Plus. This position serves as a vital component in delivering live content such as concerts, sports, and stunt events. The manager will be responsible for overseeing event production from initial planning, through live execution, to post-event analysis, ensuring all aspects meet Samsung's high standards for quality and branding. A significant portion of the role involves travel to various event locations to coordinate on-site activities and represent the company. The candidate must coordinate seamlessly with streaming vendors and internal teams to facilitate smooth live streaming, adhering to technical requirements and troubleshooting real-time issues. Furthermore, they will manage event creation and configuration using the platform’s Content Management System (CMS), ensuring accurate metadata, scheduling, and technical settings for flawless delivery to end devices.

Because Samsung TV Plus is expanding its live content portfolio globally, this manager-level position plays a critical role in executing the company’s vision for dynamic, engaging live events. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, technical know-how related to content delivery networks and encoding standards, and proven experience in managing large-scale international events. The compensation for this position in Los Angeles, CA ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on geographic region, skills, and experience.
