Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license held for minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to stand or walk regularly throughout shift
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, or crawling
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions including wet, humid, extreme heat or cold, and exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals
  • Exempt position with minimal travel required
  • Ability to use hands and arms effectively
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage budgets and labor costs
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to complete reports and special projects

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a five star service environment
  • Managerial and leadership experience
  • Proven performance in similar roles
  • Ability to read, comprehend and explain safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic math concepts
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions
  • Decision making based on common sense judgment

  • Knowledge of aviation policies, procedures, rules and regulations

Job Duties

  • Motivates the team of Line Service Technicians to reach their full potential and achieve set goals
  • Oversees and assists the Line Service Trainer in the training process to assure standards are upheld
  • Oversees all Fuel QC and the ordering of Jet and 100LL fuels
  • Mentors Shift Leads to manage daily operations during all shifts
  • Assures adherence to company policy and SOPs as defined by the SMS and Operations Manual
  • Manages departmental budgets and labor costs to maintain fiscal discipline
  • Coordinates scheduling for Line Service Technicians to meet operational needs
  • Provides excellent customer service to members and transient aircraft crew and clients
  • Oversees safety related issues involved with ramp procedures
  • Promotes and maintains a positive image of Modern Aviation to all personnel and community
  • Assures safe operations protecting customers, staff and equipment
  • Oversees IS-BAH Safety Program and Committee
  • Completes weekly reports on time
  • Coordinates and completes special projects
  • Resolves problems using sound judgment and makes operational improvement recommendations
  • Notifies General Manager of equipment malfunctions, accidents or incidents and ensures incident reporting
  • Performs duties of a Line Service Technician as needed
  • Assures compliance with shift duties and checklists
