Job Description
Hilton Omaha stands as a beacon of hospitality excellence in the heart of downtown Omaha, blending the timeless charm of its historic roots with modern luxury and innovation. As part of the prestigious Hilton brand, Hilton Omaha offers guests an unmatched lodging experience that combines comfort, style, and top-tier service. Hilton itself, founded in 1919, has grown into a global hospitality leader with a diverse portfolio of hotels ranging from opulent full-service resorts to accessible extended-stay and mid-priced accommodations. Hilton Omaha continues this legacy with a commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and community engagement, setting a high standard within the local hospitality market.
At the core of Hilton Omaha's dining scene is Nick's Quorum Bar & Supper Club, a venue inspired by the city's historic Saint Nicholas Claim House of 1854. This modern bar and supper club offers a unique culinary experience, featuring a menu curated by Culinary Director Marvin Woods that revives classic supper club fare with fresh, inventive twists. Guests enjoy brunch daily and dinner services from Tuesday through Saturday, complemented by a full bar serving both classic cocktails, like the Brown Sugar Brandy Old Fashioned crafted with local spirits, and playful after-dinner drinks such as the Pink Squirrel and Grasshopper.
The Food and Beverage Manager in Training position at Hilton Omaha represents a dynamic opportunity for passionate hospitality professionals eager to build a rewarding career within a globally recognized brand. This role is pivotal in supervising the operations of the Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. The manager is instrumental in maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality and excellence in service. Responsibilities include overseeing staff training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation, positioning this role as integral to the success of the Food and Beverage division.
Offering competitive wages starting at $20 per hour, Hilton Omaha invests in the growth and development of its employees, providing pathways for career advancement within the broader Hilton network. The role requires a commitment to Hilton's core values—Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, and a sense of urgency captured in 'Now'. These values underpin the company culture and guide every aspect of the guest and employee experience.
Candidates for the Food and Beverage Manager in Training position are expected to embody key attributes such as quality, productivity, dependability, customer focus, and adaptability. Working at Hilton means being part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences, upholding the highest standards of service, and embracing a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
