Job Description
Bar Crawl Nation is a leading nationwide events company renowned for creating memorable and engaging social experiences across more than 30 cities throughout the United States. Specializing in themed bar crawls and festive events, the company collaborates with local bars and restaurants to design and execute gatherings that attract hundreds to thousands of participants. With a focus on community engagement, hospitality, and entertainment, Bar Crawl Nation has built a reputation for delivering high-energy events that bring people together to celebrate, socialize, and enjoy themed festivities in a safe and well-organized environment. The company is currently expanding its footprint to the Boston area to further extend its vibrant event portfolio and foster strong local partnerships. They host popular events such as the Tacos & Margs Crawl®, Mimosa Fest, and Boos Fest Halloween Bar Crawl, each typically drawing between 500 to 1000 attendees, creating exciting opportunities for networking and entertainment.
The Boston Manager role at Bar Crawl Nation is a dynamic and hands-on position responsible for overseeing the successful execution of local events. Reporting directly to the Regional Event Coordinator, the Boston Manager will lead and coordinate on-ground staff including the Assistant Manager, Event Production team, and media personnel to ensure that each event is flawlessly delivered. This role involves extensive preparation work such as conducting site visits with partner bars and restaurants, distributing promotional materials, ensuring all logistical details are aligned, and managing on-site operations on event days. The Manager will be accountable for staff training, assigning roles, and ensuring smooth communication amongst team members to guarantee a seamless attendee experience.
Candidates stepping into this role will benefit from paid training beginning in January 2025, providing a solid foundation in company procedures, event management techniques, and use of specialized event apps. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to motivate and manage a team, and the capability to perform effectively in fast-paced, alcohol-infused environments. Attention to detail is critical, especially when closing out tabs with venues, conducting end-of-event reports, and maintaining compliance with state and local regulations. This role also demands excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with partner venues and local communities, ensuring ongoing collaboration and event success.
Working for Bar Crawl Nation in Boston offers not only competitive hourly pay of 40 to 60 dollars per hour but also flexible scheduling outside of event dates. The job is part-time and contract-based, perfect for individuals seeking rewarding work with opportunities for advancement into regional or other company roles. Employees will enjoy a fun, fast-paced atmosphere that supports local businesses and promotes spirited community events. This position is ideal for motivated, organized professionals passionate about event management and hospitality who thrive in dynamic social settings and enjoy creating exceptional experiences for attendees.
