Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree and minimum four years of experience in food service or a related field
- additional equivalent work experience may substitute for degree
- relevant Masters degrees may substitute for work experience
- minimum three years of leadership experience
- minimum two years experience with PC based tools including Microsoft Office and Web applications
- Food Protection Manager Certification from recognized institutions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in food service or a related field
- minimum four years of experience in food service or a directly related field
- minimum three years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports
- minimum two years experience with PC based tools including Microsoft Office and Web applications
- Food Protection Manager Certification from recognized institutions
- experience in managing vendor relationships and budgets
- knowledge of food safety, nutrition care standards, and regulatory compliance
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to analyze data and lead quality improvement projects
Job Duties
- Hold teams accountable to complete cleaning and sanitary logs according to company standards
- lead communications to ensure vendor contracts are in place and oversee vendor performance metrics
- manage monthly food procurement budgets and inventory processes including labeling, storage, utilization, and recall of food items
- guide team in assembling patient meal trays and managing catering services
- contribute to emergency planning for food supply and delivery during crises
- analyze escalated patient survey responses to quality control metrics and lead improvement initiatives
- develop work plans to maintain efficient food services and resolve escalated operational issues
