Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition, Food Systems Management, or Hospitality Management OR relevant work experience
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Executive Chef considered but advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Food Protection Manager Certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Allergen Certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum 5 years of operations, financial management, and leadership experience in a fast-paced food environment
  • Proficiency with database, application, and Microsoft Office suite

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition, Food Systems Management, or Hospitality Management preferred
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Executive Chef considered

  • Experience in financial management and leadership in food services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant software applications

Job Duties

  • Manage effective and efficient food operations personally or by delegation
  • Meet revenue, expenses, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction targets for food and nutrition services
  • Support the food leadership team in operational initiatives
  • Coordinate intra and inter departmental functions to integrate food services into hospital operations
  • Ensure patient food and nutritional needs are evaluated and met using appropriate software
  • Streamline production and analyze nutrient content of patient menus
  • Oversee compliance with food safety standards
