Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1+ years leadership experience in food and beverage organizing a team for optimal customer service
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Experienced in driving business, revenue, control cost, guest satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve or exceed goals
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Desktop and similar hospitality software familiarity including Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, POS
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Highly proficient with food safety and sanitation practices, rules and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Experience in driving business, revenue, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
  • Proficiency with hospitality software including Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and POS
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening
  • Highly proficient in food safety and sanitation practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Two years experience in a similar role preferred
  • Manager-level certification in food safety training preferred
  • Manager-level certification in alcohol awareness and safety training preferred
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with kitchen and bar equipment maintenance
  • Prior management experience in hotel or resort industry preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in safety compliance and workforce safety planning preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees daily functions of lodge restaurant, bar, quick-service, and banquet operations
  • Assists F&B leadership in achieving operational objectives through strategic planning and reviews
  • Participates in hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of team members
  • Ensures compliance with Great Wolf University training courses
  • Supports frontline staff in guest service satisfaction
  • Supervises food preparation and presentation standards
  • Assists in guest-facing roles during peak times
  • Manages storeroom organization and adherence to health codes
  • Controls cost of goods sold and minimizes waste
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in all F&B areas
  • Executes scheduling and payroll activities accurately
  • Monitors equipment operation and manages maintenance
  • Participates in inventory procedures to control costs
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings and service audits
  • Ensures compliance with safety inspection score goals
