Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- two years leadership experience or three years equivalent culinary education and culinary experience
- registered dietitian or certified dietary manager certification within 24 months
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification upon hire
- ServSafe Allergen certification within 60 days

Job Duties
- maintaining and administering culinary and nutrition services
- providing operational support to staff members
- creating and ensuring patient and retail service standards are met
- conducting sanitation and performance audits regularly
- identifying learning needs and opportunities for staff
- adhering to purchasing agreements and compliance goals
- assisting with compliance audits across campuses
- directing patient non-interactive roles such as storeroom clerks and cooks
- maintaining regulatory compliance and infection control practices
- communicating with staff and customers regarding service levels
- conducting frequent patient rounding and visitations
- coordinating nutrition program standards with other departments
- managing daily staffing and workload assignments
- recruiting, hiring and managing staff performance
- conducting job shadowing audits and coaching staff
- collaborating on menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services
- prioritizing culinary excellence, innovation, sustainability, and food waste reduction
- participating in hospital committees
- planning menus for special events and catering
- traveling to other campuses as needed
