Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Two years of leadership experience or three years of equivalent culinary education and experience
  • Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager certification within 24 months
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification upon hire
  • ServSafe Allergen certification within 60 days

  • Preferred associate's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management

Job Duties

  • Maintain and administer culinary and nutrition services
  • Assist with creating and enforcing patient and retail service standards
  • Conduct sanitation and performance audits regularly
  • Identify staff learning needs and provide coaching
  • Manage purchasing compliance and audit processes
  • Direct patient non-interactive positions and operational needs
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and infection control
  • Promote patient satisfaction and communicate service levels
  • Conduct patient rounding and visitations
  • Coordinate nutrition program standards with other departments
  • Manage staffing, assign workloads, recruit and hire staff
  • Conduct job shadowing audits and training assessments
  • Collaborate on menu development emphasizing culinary excellence and sustainability
  • Participate in hospital committees
  • Oversee special event and catering menu planning
  • Travel to other campuses as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
