Job Requirements

  • Within 30 days of hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
  • Upon hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association
  • 4 years experience as a cook in a culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work)
  • 2 years leading a team in a dining services environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or certification of completion from an accredited culinary trade school (2-4 year program)
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience using HACCP food safety guidelines
  • Ability to lead a team effectively
  • Culinary training or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Supervise, plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of Food and Nutrition team
  • Provide seamless customer service for patient meals, retail, and catering
  • Handle food according to HACCP guidelines
  • Adhere to standard recipes and plating guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy of all assembled meal orders
  • Maintain par stocks and order supplies
  • Rotate product to maintain maximum quality
  • Act as a customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments
