Job Requirements
- Within 30 days of hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
- Upon hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association
- 4 years experience as a cook in a culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work)
- 2 years leading a team in a dining services environment
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in culinary arts or certification of completion from an accredited culinary trade school (2-4 year program)
- Customer service experience
- Experience using HACCP food safety guidelines
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Culinary training or equivalent experience
Job Duties
- Supervise, plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of Food and Nutrition team
- Provide seamless customer service for patient meals, retail, and catering
- Handle food according to HACCP guidelines
- Adhere to standard recipes and plating guidelines
- Ensure accuracy of all assembled meal orders
- Maintain par stocks and order supplies
- Rotate product to maintain maximum quality
- Act as a customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments
