Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in the event industry
  • 2+ years of warehouse management experience
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • 1+ year of inventory management experience
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of transportation, staffing, and workflow planning
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand/power tools (training provided)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event needs

Job Duties

  • Lead and mentor a warehouse team, ensuring inventory is properly inspected, maintained, tagged, packed, loaded, and returned or repaired as needed
  • Oversee trucking schedules and delivery logistics to guarantee safe, timely, and efficient transport of event supplies
  • Manage staffing needs by coordinating with operations teams to align resources with event demands
  • Develop cost-effective strategies to maximize efficiency, avoid unnecessary costs, and support business goals
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to support team growth, development, and career progression
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment while upholding industry best practices
  • Jump in to support event setup, teardown, and truck loading/unloading when needed to keep things moving smoothly
  • Partner across departments to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and in line with MGM's high standards
