Job Requirements
- Must have 5-7 years experience in live event production management
- Technical knowledge of rigging, engineering, power provisions, safety protocols, and union regulations
- Understanding of Sphere and Clark County building codes and fire safety
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with financial and operational impacts
- Experience supervising union and non-union crews
- Experience in budget management and event cost tracking
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Possess problem solving, reasoning, motivational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Conflict resolution experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting of production drawings
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays
- Willingness to travel
- Adaptability to changing security environments
- Completion of OSHA 30-Hour training course
Job Qualifications
- 5-7 years working experience in live event production management
- Experience supervising union and non-union crews
- Technical knowledge of rigging, engineering review, power provisions, safety protocols, and union regulations
- Knowledge of Sphere and Clark County building codes and fire safety
- Experience creating and maintaining event budgets and financial settlements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in teams
- Conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting including 2D and 3D layouts
Job Duties
- Administer all event planning with clients and venue stakeholders from advancement to load-out
- Maintain and manage event calendar
- Assist in overseeing technical run-throughs
- Instruct lighting and technical support teams on execution of special effects
- Oversee stage organization and design prior to performances
- Serve as point of contact for execution of Sphere internal events
- Oversee setup of props and production items
- Address and resolve technical difficulties during rehearsals and performances
- Ensure cast and crew are prepared for performances
- Manage daily operations for Atrium and Robot activation
- Communicate schedule changes to vendors and follow up on operational issues
- Coordinate staffing for VIP tours and PR events with third party vendors
- Act as liaison for operational issues with vendors
- Ensure activations are supplied with necessary materials
- Follow up on technical and operational issues during activations
- Manage onboarding of new staff including badges and parking
- Reconcile invoices for daily operational costs
- Collaborate with Guest Services and vendors for guest flow and safety
- Provide stage directions and cues during rehearsals and performances
- Maintain logs of rehearsal activities, script changes, and official performances
- Report logistical problems to management
- Coordinate event planning including staging, lighting, sound, seating and staffing
- Generate and maintain operational budgets with regular updates
- Track costs against budgets for event settlements
- Produce AutoCAD seating maps for event planning and permits
- Work with outside agencies to ensure compliance with regulations
- Communicate union and non-union labor work rules
- Schedule and direct union and non-union labor
- Troubleshoot event day issues and respond to emergencies
- Oversee transition from event activities to equipment load-out
- Evaluate client and guest experience through observation and feedback
