Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of event planning experience including high-end social or corporate events
  • 2+ years of experience managing or coaching a team
  • exceptional communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • client relationship management skills
  • ability to handle competing priorities
  • familiarity with event planning software and CRM systems a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of event planners and the Event Captain

  • promote museum event spaces to external partners and prospective clients
  • monitor trends, evaluate pricing structures, and recommend improvements
