Job Description

Flourish Health is a pioneering mental health company dedicated to providing equitable access to exceptional care for adolescents and young adults facing serious mental illness. Recognizing that one in 25 young individuals are diagnosed with significant mental health challenges, Flourish Health stands at the forefront of addressing these critical needs by bridging gaps in care availability and delivery. As a mission-driven entity, Flourish Health combines deep clinical expertise with innovative approaches to ensure that all families, regardless of background or circumstance, receive the comprehensive support they deserve. The company's commitment to fostering inclusivity, psychological safety, and meaningful employee empowerment shapes its dynamic and supportive work culture. Flourish Health operates as a fully remote organization with team members collaborating across various locations, while maintaining an occasional requirement for in-person attendance at key events twice per year. The salary range for the current opening is competitive, between $70,000 and $79,000 annually, reflecting the organization's respect for expertise and dedication in mental health and organizational culture building.

The Manager, Events & Culture at Flourish Health is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing the employee experience through thoughtfully designed events and cultural programming that foster connection, learning, and professional growth. This role requires a strategic and empathetic leader who excels in the intricate logistics of event management including venue selection, vendor coordination, and inclusive participation across both remote and in-person settings. The manager leads the execution of company-wide and team-specific offsites, celebrations like work anniversaries and milestone recognitions, and ongoing synchronous and asynchronous programming that aligns closely with the organization’s mission and operational priorities. The position demands a hands-on approach to managing budgets, travel logistics, and communication efforts to reinforce Flourish Health's core values and culture.

Successful candidates will thrive in an environment where innovation and inclusiveness drive the heart of employee engagement efforts. The role involves developing repeatable, scalable processes for celebrations and events, curating calendars of training, wellness, and development sessions, and actively participating in delivering these programs. Measuring and improving employee engagement via feedback mechanisms and pulse surveys is also crucial to continuously enhancing Flourish's vibrant work environment. Importantly, this position serves as a key partner to the People Operations team and other organizational leaders, ensuring that cross-departmental efforts are cohesive and aligned.

The ideal manager embodies strategic foresight, excellent organizational skills, and passion for mental health advocacy. They must be able to navigate complex logistics remotely and champion inclusivity to ensure accessible programming for teams across different time zones and work patterns. This is not only a role focused on events management but also culture cultivation, playing an instrumental part in nurturing a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace. Flourish Health also promotes EEO principles and participates in E-Verify to ensure equity and compliance in its workforce.

This full-time position offers a remote work setting with intermittent travel for in-person engagements. Benefits include 401(k) matching, home office stipend, paid time off, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, underscoring the company's commitment to supporting its employees' well-being in and out of the workplace.
