Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, engineering or an equivalent field or combination of high school diploma/GED and four years related experience
  • Five years experience in manpower planning, business planning, resource planning, strategic planning or a related work
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Available for occasional overnight travel
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country
  • Authorization to work in the US is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering or equivalent field or demonstrated capability with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and four years related experience
  • Five years experience in manpower planning, business planning, resource planning, strategic planning or related work
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Available for occasional overnight travel
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Preferred Master's degree in Aviation, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering or related field
  • Three years of experience in airlines
  • Strong programming language capabilities

Job Duties

  • Develop crew manpower plan and ensure the implementation and execution of the plan by coordinating across Flight Ops, Inflight, Finance, Crew Services and JetBlue University
  • Develop, maintain and improve complex crew manpower systems
  • Serve as the primary crew resource planning liaison
  • Initiate and support operational and financial efficiency projects and business cases for Flight and Inflight
  • Support budget and goal development for operational business units
  • Develop presentations and analysis for Senior department leaders on an ad hoc basis
  • Establish and track key indicators for crew planning
  • Create and maintain crew divisional dashboards
  • Manage all aspects of project development including facilitating meetings, communication among project team members and monitoring adherence to deadlines
  • Build and foster relationships with internal and external customers
  • Lead development of crewmembers to support engagement, growth, and goal achievement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
