The role of Manager, Corporate Communications - New Horizon at the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the communications strategies supporting this vital development program. Job Duties

  • Leads the overall communications strategy for New Horizon I and II as well as MNAA’s broader growth initiatives
  • assists the Director of Communications with media relations activities including drafting press releases talking points and social media posts that provide clear often technical information about New Horizon and other growth projects
  • provides timely accurate information to the public about BNA’s growth to build support and momentum for the airport's development plans
  • oversees updates to the MNAA website and acts as the primary liaison with the website vendor for content related to New Horizon I and II as well as future construction projects
  • coordinates with photographers and videographers to document and highlight key projects and events
  • writes and produces branded collateral for New Horizon and special construction projects including messaging fact sheets media tours and event materials
  • fosters and maintains positive relationships with MNAA employees airport tenants and business partners to ensure consistent relevant communication that promotes the airport's image and interests
  • ensures communication practices adhere to MNAA policies regulations and industry best practices
  • assists in the budgeting process and manages vendor invoices related to the New Horizon communications efforts
  • provides guidance and leadership to the communications team fostering a service-oriented high-performance work environment
