Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least five years experience in retail security/loss prevention preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of asset protection and safety technology systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements such as PCI-DCC and HIPPA
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence others who are not direct reports
  • Willingness to travel and operate company and rental vehicles safely
  • Maintain updated training and certifications in asset protection and investigations

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least five (5) years' experience in retail security/loss prevention, including the use of the Wicklander Zulawski (WZ) interview training program, preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of technology systems related to Asset Protection, Safety, Fleet, and point of sale
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required
  • Capacity to prioritize duties daily
  • Be able to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations
  • Apply strategic thought processes to minimize exposure to emerging threats and trends
  • Capable of analyzing and interpreting information to identify exceptions and trends signaling potential loss
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Be able to influence activities and results of those who are not direct reports
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to the position, such as PCI-DCC and HIPPA
  • Have the ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance as the organization requires
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Capable of passing a background check and drug screen, where applicable, for the position

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other departments, monitors security incidents, trends, and patterns to identify potential threats, and develops strategies for mitigating risks
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce theft prevention measures, access control systems, and safety protocols
  • Establishes and facilitates community and outside warehouse relationships that facilitate impactful risk reduction to the Company divisions and brand, while maintaining safe physical sites
  • Provides training and education to Team Members on Asset Protection, Security, and Safety protocols
  • Stays up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, recommends upgrades and improvements as necessary
  • Conducts compliance and audits, quality assurance, and risk assessments
  • Manages, conducts, and resolves internal investigations for theft and safety concerns, keeps accurate records using approved software
  • Reviews CCTV and conducts surveillance as needed
