Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • basic computer skills
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred
  • Food Service Safe Certification (CPFS) preferred
  • physical ability to perform medium work
  • exert up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
  • bring humankindness to the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Food Service Safe Certification (CPFS) preferred
  • commensurate experience will be considered

Job Duties

  • Assist with creating patient and retail service standards and ensuring they are met
  • conduct sanitation audits and performance audits regularly
  • identify current learning needs and manage training processes
  • follow purchasing agreements and compliance goals
  • direct patient non-interactive positions and maintain regulatory compliance
  • maintain communication to promote patient satisfaction
  • conduct patient rounding and visitations frequently
  • ensure nutrition programs meet regulatory standards
  • maintain efficient staffing and assign workload
  • recruit, hire, and manage staff performance
  • conduct job shadowing audits and provide coaching
  • collaborate in menu development focusing on culinary excellence and sustainability
  • participate in hospital committees
  • plan menus for special events and catering and travel as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
