Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 5 years experience as Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
  • preferred 2 years experience in aircraft maintenance planning
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • experience managing projects, schedules, and budgets
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • position designated safety sensitive under Arizona Medical Marijuana Act

Job Duties

  • Monitor fleet flight time to forecast due maintenance and requirements including Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
  • Confirm all FAA or OEM mandated AD and SB requirements are entered and track material support with Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Airworthiness Support Group to schedule major inspections and modifications at maintenance centers
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to plan and order parts, consumables, and components for all maintenance events
  • Work with Area Maintenance Managers and Lead Mechanics to plan maintenance at local EMS bases
  • Provide cost estimates including logistics, process, reliability, and efficiencies for all projects
  • Develop long-term economic plans to reduce costs through strategic volume purchases
  • Ensure Ramco Work Units have appropriate parts and materials associated
  • Communicate scheduling changes timely to Supply Chain
  • Monitor maintenance progress and reduce out-of-service times
  • Support review and variance analysis of Planned vs Actual maintenance hours
  • Participate in quarterly Approved Aircraft Inspection Program review committees
  • Manage daily tasks of Roving Maintenance Team and track execution in support of heavy maintenance plan
  • Support annual fleet budgeting by validating requirements and material consumption
  • Perform other duties related to aircraft maintenance planning as assigned
