Job Description

LA28 is the independent, non-profit, and privately funded organizing committee responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This organization operates with a clear mission to celebrate the rich diversity, culture, and innovation of Los Angeles and the United States by creating a monumental event that offers an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners, and the broader community. The 2028 Summer Games will mark the return of the Olympic Games to the U.S. after a 32-year hiatus and will be the third time Los Angeles has hosted the Games, while also hosting the Paralympic Games for the first time. This unique opportunity allows LA28 to showcase the city's legacy and simultaneously push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, setting a historic landmark for future generations.

The Manager of Accreditation Operations is a vital leadership role within the Accreditation (ACR) functional area of LA28. Accreditation is the cornerstone of the Games' operational success as it involves identifying, registering, and managing access for all participants through official Olympic and Paralympic identity and accreditation cards. This role specifically focuses on the planning and delivery of accreditation services at all competition venues across Los Angeles. Reporting directly to the Director of Accreditation Competition Venue Operations, the Manager will play a key role in ensuring that accreditation zoning, access controls, and stakeholder flows comply with the stringent standards set by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

The Manager will represent the Accreditation functional area in Event Operations Planning sessions for a cluster of approximately 10 to 12 competition venues, working closely with several internal teams across Venue Infrastructure, Logistics, Technology, Workforce Operations, and Security. This collaboration ensures seamless operation of Venue Accreditation Offices by coordinating space, technology, energy, signage, and volunteer workforce requirements. The role demands executive-level planning, resource coordination, recruitment, training, and operational management to guarantee a flawless accreditation experience that is inclusive, secure, and aligned with LA28's core values of optimism, integrity, excellence, inclusion, co-creation, and boldness.

Additionally, the Manager must maintain high standards of customer service to all accredited participants while enforcing accreditation policies to uphold the integrity of the Games. This position offers a competitive annual salary range between $88,000 and $115,000, reflecting the skills, experience, and qualifications of the successful candidate. While LA28 does not offer relocation assistance, it provides a collaborative and diverse work environment that fosters innovation and strategic leadership. This role requires the flexibility to work onsite in Los Angeles, with regular travel to Olympic and Paralympic venue sites and occasional work beyond traditional business hours to support key events leading up to and during the Games.
