Job Description

Kellan Restaurant Management Corp. is a respected family-owned and independent operator renowned for its commitment to excellence in the restaurant industry. Specializing in vibrant full-service and fast-casual dining experiences, the company has established itself as one of the largest and top-performing operators in its region. Known for its high-energy restaurants featuring bustling dining rooms and lively bar scenes, Kellan Restaurant Management Corp. prioritizes quality, teamwork, and leadership in all aspects of its operations. With a strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared from scratch daily, the company fosters an environment where culinary passion and guest satisfaction go hand in hand.

We are currently seeking a Manager for our 54th Street Restaurants located in the Kansas City Metro area, specifically in St. Joseph, Missouri. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $50,000 with a stable five-day workweek, designed to promote work-life balance for management staff. The Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing restaurant operations, supporting staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards across food preparation and service.

As a Manager at 54th Street Restaurants, you will be part of a team that values development, teamwork, and camaraderie. Our kitchens and bars are well-staffed to foster a supportive work environment where help is always within reach, creating an atmosphere free from the understaffing and mismanagement that are unfortunately common in some fast-food or fast-casual settings. This position is ideal for individuals ready to advance their careers, whether they come from fast casual, fast food, or other restaurant backgrounds. Experience in serving, cooking, or bartending is valuable and can substitute formal managerial experience if you have demonstrated strong capabilities and a commitment to excellence.

Our extensive food and cocktail menus reflect our dedication to quality—featuring fresh, expensive ingredients that are prepped in-house every day to create a memorable dining experience. In this role, you'll not only manage day-to-day operations but also contribute to the growth and success of one of the most dynamic restaurant groups in the area. We encourage internal promotion and offer numerous advancement opportunities for those who demonstrate leadership and a passion for the hospitality industry.

With comprehensive benefits including paid vacation, bonus programs, medical, dental, vision coverage, matching 401K plans, meal compensation benefits, and life insurance, this position provides both financial and personal growth benefits. Join us now to upgrade your work environment and become part of a well-managed, supportive, family-oriented company that truly cares about its people and guests.
