The role of Restaurant Manager at Buffalo Wild Wings involves overseeing daily shift operations within a single location, ensuring that the restaurant meets its revenue, profitability, and quality goals. The manager will lead by example in hospitality and guest interaction by conducting frequent table visits and effectively handling guest complaints to uphold the restaurant's reputation. A key responsibility is managing staffing needs including recruitment, interviewing, and training to build a competent and motivated team.

Operational excellence is paramount, with duties including administrative functions such as timekeeping audits, sales tracking, and adherence to health and safety regulations, including SERV Safe certifications. The manager must ensure proper inventory management through receiving and restocking shipments, monitoring costs, and maintaining PCI compliance for credit transactions. Shift meetings and ongoing coaching are essential to enhance team performance and foster a positive work environment. Physical demands of the job require the manager to be active on their feet, capable of lifting supplies, and flexible with their schedule to meet the dynamic needs of the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum two years restaurant management experience preferred
  • College degree preferred or equivalent in experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and flexible
  • Maintains a calm tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Forms strong working relationships within team
  • Identifies additional tasks and willingly assists others
  • Follows direction with focused attention
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Model hospitality skills by conducting 100 percent table visits of guests in the restaurant
  • Effectively handle guest complaints
  • Build positive professional relationships with members of the community
  • Manage department staffing needs including reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and training
  • Lead shift meetings and solicit feedback from team members
  • Provide shift-by-shift coaching, performance counseling and feedback as needed
  • Submit and document guest and team member related injuries or incidents
  • Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Conduct administrative manager functions and transactions
  • Ensure adherence to SERV Safe Alcohol, Food and HACCP standards
  • Ensure PCI compliance for all credit card transactions
  • Conduct daily time punch audits and make necessary corrections
  • Assist with rollouts of new company programs, policies, and procedures
  • Unload trucks, pallets, and cases of food and beverage
  • Rotate and restock inventory
  • Ensure team meets or exceeds cost of sales targets
  • Unload vendor deliveries and ensure inventory is properly managed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
