The Role

BARna is currently seeking a bar-forward Assistant Manager or Bar Manager who is passionate about executing high-quality beverage service and leading a dynamic team. This role focuses heavily on bar execution, floor leadership, scheduling, and collaboration with ownership and a dedicated bar consultant who develops the beverage program. As the bar manager, you will be responsible for bringing the beverage program to life with expert precision, ensuring consistent service delivery, and driving continuous improvement in operational aspects.

This role demands hands-on leadership during busy service times, such as matches, weekends, and evening operations, where pace control, problem-solving, and guest experience are crucial. Alongside managing scheduling and labor, you will build efficient schedules that align with sales projections and volume, manage cuts, breaks, shift flows, and achieve labor targets. Training staff, conducting focused pre-shifts, and maintaining clear performance standards are essential components of the position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant management role. They should possess strong knowledge of bar operations, workflow, and be capable of running busy services successfully. Organizational skills, composure under pressure, high standards, humility, and comfort in working closely with ownership and external partners will be key to thriving in this role.
