Job Description

Our company is a high-volume sports bar and grill, a beloved neighborhood destination for families and individuals alike to celebrate special occasions, catch the big game, or enjoy lunch or dinner. With over 100 TVs broadcasting a wide array of sporting events, our venue offers an engaging and lively atmosphere that ensures there is never a dull moment. We are actively seeking an efficient and adaptable Restaurant Manager to oversee our bustling, full-service bar and restaurant. This role is integral to the operational and financial success of our establishment. As the Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant's performance, driving both financial metrics and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams through proactive staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes. Ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations will be a key part of your role. We are looking for a leader who embodies integrity and accountability while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a collaborative team environment. This position demands excellent communication and leadership capabilities to motivate and inspire staff, maintain high standards of service, and exceed patron expectations at every turn.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
  • Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
  • Ability to lead big groups of people

Job Duties

  • Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand
  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing finances
  • Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public and community programs
  • Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with the account manager
  • Maintains operations by following standard operating procedures, aiming for consistent productivity and quality
  • Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food and beverage service offerings
  • Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training
