The Restaurant Manager role at Art & Jakes is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's financial and operational performance. This full-time role, with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, requires a leader who can efficiently manage a busy, full-service restaurant environment. The manager will be accountable for building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training efforts. The Restaurant Manager drives guest satisfaction by motivating the service staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Key responsibilities include establishing business plans based on restaurant demand, meeting financial objectives, implementing marketing and community outreach programs to attract patrons, and managing inventory and purchasing in collaboration with account managers. The manager also upholds operational standards by following established procedures to maintain consistent productivity and quality while monitoring food and beverage service offerings to ensure excellence.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in budgeting, payroll, and inventory control
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
- Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
