Jimmy John's is currently seeking passionate, hardworking, and dedicated individuals to join their team as Managers at their De Pere, WI location. This is a management position that requires embracing the company's unique culture of "freaky fast" service and a team-oriented environment. Managers at Jimmy John's are recognized as leaders who are the first to arrive and the last to leave, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach by working alongside their crew members.
In this pivotal role, managers are tasked with coaching and motivating crew members throughout their shifts to ensure that operational brand standards are met and that every customer enjoys a friendly and exceptional guest experience. They play a key role in setting goals, providing job assignments, and celebrating team successes while delivering timely constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Managers foster a supportive and respectful team environment by communicating shift priorities, goals, and results clearly. They also actively participate in training and development, mentoring crew members to build a skilled and cohesive team. Operational excellence is a major focus area, with managers responsible for creating a guest-first culture, resolving customer issues effectively, and ensuring adherence to brand standards, recipes, food safety, and sanitation guidelines. Compliance with local and state laws regarding safety and security is mandatory, maintaining a healthy and secure work environment.
Furthermore, managers directly impact the profitability of the restaurant by driving sales goals, executing restaurant standards and marketing initiatives, managing cash flow including over/shorts, and ensuring all products are prepared to brand standards to maintain consistent quality.
Jimmy John's embraces a blended training approach for new managers to build the knowledge and skills necessary for success. This includes hands-on training with store managers and Brand Ambassadors, as well as online learning through their Learning Management System (LMS) called FAST TRACK. This system offers e-learning courses, job aids, and operational tools to help managers quickly ramp up and become valuable contributors during their first 30 days and beyond.
The position offers a starting pay of $17.75 per hour and falls under the management job category. Job Requirements
- at least 18 years of age where applicable
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong work ethic and positive attitude
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- basic computer proficiency

- restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience
- math and writing skills
