The restaurant is currently seeking a passionate, experienced Manager or Assistant General Manager to join its growing team. This leadership role is designed for a hands-on, driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced food service environment and is committed to maintaining and elevating hospitality standards. The ideal candidate will possess an owner mentality—taking full accountability for the operational health and financial success of the restaurant. This includes a strong understanding of financial metrics such as Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and the ability to proactively course correct when necessary.

As a key member of the management team, the Manager or Assistant General Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations that ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. With excellent communication and organizational skills, this individual will lead by example, motivating and coaching the team to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Experience with technologies including POS systems, Excel, Word, and scheduling software like Hot Schedules is essential for managing labor and inventory effectively. This role demands flexibility, as the schedule includes mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the dynamic needs of the restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as salaried manager in full service dining
  • Experience with full service alcohol serving facility
  • Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching and motivating a team
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work standing up to 9 hours per day
  • Experience with quantity food preparation preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Management skills and leadership experience
  • 2-3 years of restaurant management in a contemporary full service or fast casual environment
  • Ability to follow direction and self-motivate
  • Clear communication and listening skills
  • Attention to details in food quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Problem-solving skills to handle challenging situations
  • Proficient with POS, Excel, Word, and Hot Schedules
  • Understanding of P&L statements
  • Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
