Job Description

As a member of the Subway® team, the Manager will focus on providing an excellent guest experience, ensuring the preparation and service of great food, maintaining functional, clean, and beautiful restaurants, managing inventory and money control systems, coordinating local marketing initiatives, recruiting staff, maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security, and being a team player. Key parts of the day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, maintaining business records and analyzing them to increase sales, identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales, supporting marketing initiatives, planning special events and promotions.

Job Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • college degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff. Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential. Physical: Ability to work in any area of the restaurant, operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register, bend, stand, and walk the entire workday, lift 10 pounds frequently, and up to 30 pounds occasionally. Training will be provided on roles and responsibilities.
